Angels Standing By
Coming from the Book of Psalms Today!
Psalm 66:19 But certainly God has heard me; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.
Angels Standing By
My co-worker is reading an intercessory prayer book and told me about this story:
A teacher and her husband live in a district that is rich in crime and adversity. The concerned teacher decided before the school year began to pray over every students desk and chair. She prayed that an angel would sit with every child and protect them. The school year started and the teacher had the children on assignment to write down what they wanted to be when they grew up. One child leaned over to the other and read his paper. It said "I want to be a mighty man of God." The other child asked aloud what that meant and it caught the teacher's ear. The teacher walked over in curiosity and listened as the child told the inquisitive classmate what a mighty man of God was. The teacher was elated and touched. A little bit later the child wanting to be a mighty man of God called his teacher over and asked, "Teacher do you believe in God?" The teacher said "Yes I do." "Teacher, do you believe in angels?" The teacher said "Yes I do." The child said, "I see angels sitting with all of us!"
This testimony is one of the most powerful I've heard. Imagine that, getting full confirmation of your prayer.
PRAYER WORKS. It's so powerful and truly is a connection to the Living God! Pray in school, in the office, and on the sales floor or wherever you may be. Pray during staff meetings, pray for your co-workers, bosses, and teachers! Intercede for them. You just never know the difference you are making for others and let's be real, for yourself!
My Most Recent Prayer Testimony
Most recently I prayed - staright up - that a free computer would show up on my doorstep. Not only did a friend of mine call me to give me a PC at no charge, but my brother came in to town and stayed with me for a week. He came with two Mac laptops. He left with one! Hmmmm...prayer works, ya'll! Ask not, have not! Doesn't this excite you?
